Currently the Executive Creative Director at Quirk, Johannesburg, Fran boasts an impressive CV with a myriad of accolades, including sitting on the Executive Committee of South Africa’s Creative Circle and judging at international and local creative awards.

Fran’s path to Quirk can only be described as illustrious. From humble beginnings as a copywriter, she’s crafted a stellar reputation and is now considered one of the industry’s most eminent minds and a legendary storyteller.

Before Quirk, Fran made brands better at many advertising powerhouses, and has worked with a number of living legends, including John Hunt of TBWA Hunt Lascaris, and Graham Warsop of The Jupiter Drawing Room. She was Ogilvy’s Creative Director, and then Executive Creative Director, and further still, was soon appointed to Ogilvy’s Worldwide Creative Council. Adding to this brobdingnagian experience, she’s sat as judge at every marquee award event (most of which she’s been awarded herself) including the Clio Awards, the Loeries, the Apex Awards and she recently judged ‘Outdoor’ at the Cannes Lions.
