Levinia grew up in Durban, spent some time in Botswana and India before coming to Wits University to complete a BA (Hons) in Dramatic Arts. She fell in love with Johannesburg and hasn’t left.
She has used her skills in different capacities in the creative sector, focussing on collaborations and partnerships, and pursuing her passion for sustainability with a focus on Creative Economy. In addition to teaching at Wits University and various schools; she has directed programmes, projects and festivals for Business and Arts South Africa, The A(t)chive, Drama for Life, South Africa Fashion Week, Wits Arts and Literature Experience (WALE), Longman Botswana, Goethe Institut; and was most recently the Content Director for the ACT UJ Arts and Culture Conference 2015; Creatives Make it Happen.
