Natalie Delport is a Facilitator, Assessor, Moderator, Designer, Coach and Mentor with a Higher Diploma in Business Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a RPL for an Advanced Certificate in Leadership.
Natalie joined the film, video and broadcast industry in 1996 and has been involved in various initiatives directly linked to the promotion of skills development ever since.
In 2005, Natalie project managed an animated computer literacy program for Women’s Development Bank that focused on teaching Women in rural areas to read and write. In 2007, Natalie started her company, Portal to Learning cc, focusing on developing skills in the media industry, and through Women of the Sun (WoS), Natalie has promoted equality for women in the film & television sector.
Besides Sabido eAcademy, Natalie is also director of Animation SA, a section 21 company promoting growth and education in the animation industry in South Africa. In 2012 Natalie was appointed as the chairman of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Skills Forum and in 2014 she was appointed by the SA Minister of Education as a board member of the MICT SETA’s accounting authority.
Natalie regularly assists companies and individuals in the media industry on coaching and mentoring learners and how they can assist and offer advice to high-school leavers in order for them to establish and market themselves effectively.
